We were honoured this summer to be asked to come to our local community primary school's big summer fun day where we had a table and were able to showcase some of the many other items we offer for sale on some of the other platforms apart from here on the website.
The beautiful handmade gemstone and silver jewellery went well as always but there was also interest shown in many of the other things we had available that day.
It turned out to be a wonderful day for everyone involved and the weather was kind to us! I will update the blog with the total raised when it's been confirmed. Definitely an event that you can find us at again next year!

Well the weather is certainly less than inspiring after such a promising start but our lovely pewter range is going well and we are beginning to get enquiries about our unique hand made ankle chains and hair braids again this year. Fingers crossed we all get the opportunity to uncover enough to be able to wear them!
We have added a new Triquetta Nose Stud this month. We have been looking for ages for one of the right quality, there are many out there, but this is the one that we have chosen.

We have looked at expanding our highly successful pewter range this month and have added some lovely new pendants including this stunning Goat of Mendes pendant representing the strength of the cosmic universe and depicting the balance between male and female, heaven and earth with the inverted pentacle on its forehead
carrying on from the theme of harmony and balance, we also have the larger, very beautiful Triquetta Circle suitable for men and women. 3 Stylised Triquettra images interlock around a smaller central Triquettra looking both strong and intricate at the same time

Blessed as we are with the weather here in beautiful North Cornwall, we have had some truly gorgeous days this week and with this in mind we have been restocking our anklets and toerings
our ever popular Pentagram Anklet was one of the first ones we started making and still outsells all the others. Another favourite of ours which is back this year is the beautiful Silver and Turquoise Feather Anklet
apart from its obvious Native American influences, it is a perfect anklet for anyone with a bird totem, or indeed anyone wishing to draw bird energy of any kind to themselves this summer.
All our favourite toe rings are back in stock, the pentagrams, the ankhs, the celtic designs and of course the goddess inspired triquetta rings

With Festival season almost upon us again, and the Spring Equinox just around the corner, we have added an exciting range on clothing to the site.

These socks are all individually hand knitted and soled by women workers in their own homes, at their own pace. Many of them are widows and rely on this income to support themselves and their families.

We were very happy to find the Universe Sun Charm, it was one of those wonderful surprises when you are looking for something else and stumble upon something special.
This one is big enough to wear as a pendant too is wanted so it really is a multi purpose piece and would make a lovely gift this coming Yule.
Talking of lovely gifts we are very excited with the new and gorgeous Fantasy Bracelet which is currently being worked on at the moment, more to come about that later....

With the coming of Samhain our thoughts here at Silver Dream have been turning more and more towards the end of the year.
Its been an interesting one so far, we have completely rewritten our websites and hopefully improved and updated our range. We have started designing and making some of our own favourite ideas from 925 silver, genuine gemstones and swarovski crystal. All of which means that we can, and do now, take commissions, which makes every day even more exciting as we never know quite what we'll be called on to come up with next.
We have started bringing in our Yule gifts and gorgeous cards from the well known and respected artists Ann Stokes and Briar. Beautiful new designs and inspiring sentiments to help us through the coming changing of the season. Hurry though because the cards particularly are causing much excitement!

Finally, We have found some findings for unpierced earrings which not only look good, but also look as though they wont fall off the first time you swing your head! I've added these to the majority of earring designs on the site - why should unpierced people have to go with out?

New Reiki jewellery! The distance symbol Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen made into both ladies drop earrings and a single sleeper earring has been added to our symbolism collection. Hanging 20mm, these lovely earrings are perfectly sized to be discreet but not shy.
A small line of nose rings have also been added to the site.
I dont think we are going to go very far in to the realms of body jewellery but I'm happy to have found some good quality rings - there is a hinged ring for those of us who struggle a bit with the conventional round ring (that includes me!), a fake BCR which gives the impression without the problems of either dropping it or ripping your piercing and a plain 8mm ring.
Hopefully they will be a popular addition to the site, I'm pleased with them :o)
